This web based elder care resource directory has been developed to provide the University of Maryland Baltimore community an easy to use guide in identifying services and benefits for older adults and their caregiving families.

The directory provides links to national and statewide agencies as well as non-profit organizations specializing in the care and wellbeing of older adults and their families. In addition to benefits information you will find helpful articles which provide definitions of conditions, assessment and treatment guidelines.

U.S. Administration on Aging (AOA) 
The mission of the Administration on Aging (AoA) is to help elderly individuals maintain their dignity and independence in their homes and communities through comprehensive, coordinated, and cost effective systems of long-term care, and livable communities across the U.S.

National Institute on Aging Publication
This web site provides links to all consumer health education booklets published by the National Institute on Aging.  The booklets can be read on line as well as ordered free of charge.

Social Security Administration (SSA)
The home page provides you with an on line application process, location of social security offices, format for estimating social security benefits, disability criteria and application process in addition to other SSA related information and assistance.

Senior Information and Assistance is a statewide program that provides a single point of entry into the aging network and offers convenient access to information on services and benefits for older persons, their families and caregivers. Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program (SPDAP) 
The Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program (SPDAP) is a subsidy program established by the Maryland General Assembly in 2005 to provide financial assistance to moderate-income Maryland residents who are eligible for Medicare and are enrolled in a prescription drug plan.
